WROT (formerly becker-arch.com) is a forum for art, design, fiction, and everything in-between. It is the moniker under which the personal works, as well as any collaborations with John Becker land. Conflict can birth unconventional outcomes, and it’s these corners that WROT pursues. The natural, built, and digital world’s thrive in isolation and often clash when confronted. In these moments challenges arise and opportunities for new ideas are presented.

A formal architectural training and over a decade working in spatial representation have formed the unique skillset needed to bring these works to life. John received his bachelor’s degree in architectural studies from the University of Utah, and a master’s degree in architecture from Columbia University (GSAPP). For the past 12 years he has worked at MARCH where he is now a Partner and the Creative Director.
