The carport is a simple design, consisting of a floated ceiling, a central pillar, limited perimeter structural supports, and a mesh façade. The central structural element has integrated storage, partitioning the space with a facia of blacken steel. The boundary is set by a metal mesh assembled from commonplace security roll-up doors. The appearance of this mesh can feel nearly solid, or dematerialized depending on the lighting and angle of observation.
